The company CET (Computer Equipment and Trade) was established in Belgrade, in 1990. From its early days on, CET's line of business was computer literature and original software. That is how the company became Microsoft's partner and the authorized dealer of Microsoft programs.
Today the company consists of three departments: CET Training Center, CET Publishing and CET Software; we number some 20 employees, but more than 30 associates and contributors. Also, we have more than 50 representatives and dealers throughout Yugoslavia.

The publishing of computer books was conceived as an important constituent part of our educational activity, and today CET is one of the biggest computer book publishers in Yugoslavia. Up to date, we have published more than 80 computer bestseller titles. CET is also distributor and the authorized translators of the famous publishers like Microsoft Press, Addison-Wesley, Hayden, SAMS, NRP, QUE, M&T, Sybex and many others.
Both CET's bookshop and CET Training Center are in the downtown Belgrade. At the bookstore in 45 Skadarska Street there is a rich offer of CET's titles and the books published by other domestic computer publishers, as well as the choice of the latest original computer titles and catalogs for ordering the books.
CET Software is the oldest and the biggest software distributor in Yugoslavia. As the distributor of Microsoft and Adobe products, we are major software supplier of many large companies and considerable number of state and educational institutions. We have organized the complete technical support for our clients, and also a solution-providing sector. In addition, it is possible to purchase the software of other famous corporations (like Symantec, Corel, Inprise and so on) from us as well.
We have re-established application software development in our company at the end of 2001. Putting to work the expertise of CET's staff, and in cooperation with some smaller specialized companies, we develop various types of software and software components on Microsoft platforms, using Microsoft technologies and development tools.
In 1994 we organized the first computer courses in our current premises in 6 Knez Mihajlova Street. Since that year until today, CET Training Center has grown and became the authorized Microsoft, Autodesk, Adobe and CompTIA educational center. The choice of courses ranges from the two-week courses for beginners, to the specialized preparation courses for taking expert Microsoft exams for obtaining one of the Microsoft's official certificates. These highly specialized courses last several months. Considerable number of our trainers and technical support staff are also university professors.
Our monthly bulletin "CET News" enables the members of our readers club and our other users to learn the novelties about CET, but also about computers world in general. On our Web site you may also find the news about our latest book titles, courses and software, along with the respective price lists.
